Larry in the World Series of Poker final event in 2005: The BLOG

For nearly 15 years I have been dabbling in poker tournaments. I had never played in the "big one" though -- the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Texas Holdem Final Event of the World Series of Poker. I had been trying to win my way in for many years. And this year (2005) I did!

On FullTiltPoker.com I won an online tournament for just $216. They are a great online poker site that is being endorsed by a dozen or more famous poker professionals. Their site is great fun and contains a lot of real world information about tournament poker. Their promotions are first rate.

I've set up a blog (my first time) that I hope to maintain each day while I try to progress through the 2005 tournament which runs over a week in July. You can follow my progress here: Larry's WSOP Blog. (Well, it's over now, but it's still good reading)

McPoker

If you are looking for McPoker (the IRC client for IRC poker that I wrote) I'm sorry to say that I stopped working on that a number of years ago as real-money poker sites began to rise and offer huge communities of players. I play on FullTiltPoker.com these days.
